New in theaters this week: Total Recall and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days.
Total Recall
Rating: PG-13
Run time: 118 min
Genre(s): Action Adventure, Sci-Fi, Thriller
Director: Len Wiseman

Synopsis: A factory worker, Douglas Quaid, begins to suspect that he is a spy after visiting Rekall – a company that provides its clients with implanted fake memories of a life they would like to have led – goes wrong and he finds himself on the run.
The Buzz
OK, it’s a remake of an Arnold Schwarzenegger classic. But by going back to original short story maybe this will be a good film. See what I did there. This movie should be up Wiseman’s alley with Colin Farrell and Wiseman’s wife Kate Beckinsale anchoring the film. Expect less camp, but the same amount of action. If you’re going for the three breasted woman, you may be in luck.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Rating: PG
Run time: 94 min
Genre(s): Comedy, Family
Director: David Bowers
Stars: Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Devon Bostick, Steve Zahn
Synopsis: School is out and Greg is ready for the days of summer, when all his plans go wrong. What on earth is he going to do all summer?
The Buzz
Books three and four are smashed together for this installment of the Wimpy Kid franchise. That’s two books left of adapted material before they just start making stuff up because this series aint ending until the people stop paying for it.
Limited Releases
Celeste and Jesse Forever
Rating: R
Genre(s): Comedy, Drama
Director: Lee Toland Krieger
Stars: Rashida Jones, Andy Samberg, Elijah Wood, Emma Roberts

The Buzz
A mainstream movie pretending to be an indie film, but still interesting. Nice to see a film deal with divorce and not be all War of the Roses about it. Not sure who we be seeing the movie, but worth the watch none the less.

Seriously, look at that cast. Now step back and realize this movie was run off the festival circuit by bad reviews. Watch at your own risk.

Stars: Paul Schneider, Olivia Munn, Kevin Heffernan, Wood Harris
Synopsis: After failing to get his wife pregnant, a guy (Schneider) recruits his pals to steal the deposit he left at a sperm bank years ago.

A comedy about a bunch of guys steal sperm. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
You’ve Been Trumped
Rating: NR
Run time: 95 min
Genre(s): Documentary
Director: Anthony Baxter
Stars: Michael Forbes, Donald Trump
Synopsis: In this David and Goliath story for the 21st century, a group of proud Scottish homeowners take on celebrity tycoon Donald Trump as he buys up one of Scotland’s last wilderness areas to build a golf resort.
The Buzz
If you don’t like the Donald then this basically will cement that position. While documentaries can be edited to make people look good or bad, most people already know a bit about Trump. In case you don’t know, this film will be an education in the underhanded things he’s willing to do to get his way.
