The Kickstarter page for Shadowrun Online, the free to play MMORPG, has a new video of prototype game play. It’s an isometric view with a lot of “click” on objects and choosing what to do. Seems OK for PCs, but not sure how it will work on iOS or Android tablets. The visuals are good for a Unity3D game and it will be based on the fourth edition of the tabletop RPG.

Oddly, with 18 days to go the project is only one-third funded despite Shadowrun Returns, an earlier one player game, that raised $1.8M or 450% of what it was trying to raise. Seems odd that a persistent MMORPG that you can play with friends on your computer or tablet isn’t getting the love of a glorified SNES game. Check out the prototype gameplay of the MMORPG below.
