Activision announced a new James Bond game today, 007 Legends.

Aptly named Legends, the new James Bond video game celebrates the 50th anniversary of the franchise. Therefore, it will include stories, weapons and characters from several of the classic movies. No word yet on which those will be.

There will be new gadgets, maps, deeper stealth and spy investigation gameplay. You will able to play as either Bond or choose a baddie from several movies. Further, the game will feature the return of the single-player Mi6 Ops Missions, which debuted in GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. This is in addition to the main story.

There’s no mention what type of game it is, but previous inceptions of the game have been first-person shooter, third-person shooter and RPG. 007 Legends is being developed by Eurocom and is due out in October around the time that the new Bond movie, Skyfall, is released. It will be available on PS3 and Xbox.
