There is something decidedly off about Entourage this season. It isn’t entirely shocking, since the show took such a dark turn in Season 7 as Vinnie spiraled out of control. Coming back from that kind of darkness and finding the pacing is no easy task.

It looks like Turtle might have a better chance of getting a date with the self-proclaimed, “proper journalist” from Vanity Fair than Vince. I wonder what would happen to Vince’s ego if that were to play out. I don’t remember anyone turning him down so many times.

Agreeing to represent Melinda definitely had shades of grey – it wasn’t necessarily the wrong thing to do… mostly created an awkward situation. However, having sex with your former fiancés’, previous step-mom clearly falls on the dark side of the moral meter! As soon as Eric was having drinks with Melinda, I could see where that was heading. There is an extra ick factor for me, because he hasn’t slept with anyone else outside of that family—break-up sex with Sloan and now Melinda…eesh! Oh, and once again the story has changed as to why he and Sloan broke up. Apparently, she was trying to push him away and he was trying to hold on… not buying it! If that is the case, why would she even care enough to call after finding out E was meeting up with Melinda?

Sadly, Ari and Mrs. Ari are headed for divorce. It’s not a surprise considering how things have been between them the last few seasons. What is a little surprising to me is how much Ari seems to value his family and how lost he seems without them. He’s created such an aura of power and authority. Yet, there is a huge vulnerability surrounding his family, wife and home. Maybe he is the type of guy that needs stability at home to succeed in business.

I was wondering how long it would take Drama to step off the edge and take the lead of Dice the whack-job! He is kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, since his new co-star sucks and Dice won’t pull his head out… Good luck with that Drama. Hope that works out for you and the network doesn’t drop you.
